  • Losing focus on basic Ādāb when learning intricate issues.
  • Undermining the younger teachers and educators who teach the earlier years.
  • Assuming that since the seeking of knowledge is the greatest act of worship, there is no need to engage in other worship.
  • Presuming that certain intricate books could be studied later in life.
  • Not deriving benefit from teachers by asking relevant questions.
  • If the student is studying online, then thinking that if he cannot make it for the live class, he can simply catch up with the recording.
  • Attacking other scholars or institutes in order to prove the greatness of one’s own teacher or institute.
  • Having social media accounts with the intention of ‘preserving essential and beneficial points’
